We’re looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and driven Safety Coordinator to join a leading FMCG business with multiple sites across Australia, supplying some of the best brands and growing fast. With strong leadership and an HR Manager who genuinely puts people first, you’ll have the backing to make things happen.

This isn’t your stock-standard WHS role. you’ll be the face of safety on the main site, reporting to the Group WHS Manager. From factory floors to training rooms, you will need to bring the energy to train and build trust. This isn’t a desk-only job, most of the time you will be with the people, engaging directly, and keeping everyone safe.

Why you’ll want this role:

  • Long-term career with the safety team expanding
  • A booming business with a culture that is fun, hardworking, and safety-focused
  • Hands-on and visible leadership with a genuine investment in people
  • Opportunity to make a real impact on the safety culture every day

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the WHS Plan across one of the main sites, driving WHS metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Being hands-on with SOPs, writing, reviewing, and embedding them on the floor to actually work
  • Manage RTW programs end-to-end
  • Prepare and manage audits alongside the WHS Manager, lead toolbox talks, risk assessments, and contractor management
  • Collaborating with Senior Management in reviewing and developing relevant safety strategies and training
  • Manage the Emergency Management Program and organise annual emergency and evacuation training for all sites

What you will bring:

  • WHS qualifications and at least 2 years’ practical, hands-on experience in FMCG
  • Solid experience with incidents, investigations, and root cause analysis, not just ticking boxes, but fixing the real problem
  • Someone confident and approachable who can engage with people at every level and earn their trust
  • Able to deliver safety training that actually makes sense and gets through to the team
  • Comfortable using Excel and reports to track safety performance
