About the Opportunity
An established and growing development business is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a Civil Engineering background to join their team in a permanent full-time capacity.
Working across a diverse portfolio of land development and civil infrastructure projects, this role will see you managing project delivery, consultant coordination, approvals, contractor engagement and stakeholder communication across multiple projects.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment with genuine responsibility, autonomy and direct involvement across the full project lifecycle.

The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, the Senior Project Manager will play a key role in overseeing projects from planning and approvals through to civil delivery and completion.
The successful candidate will work closely with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are progressing efficiently, on programme and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage civil and land development projects across various stages of delivery
  • Coordinate planning, approvals and authority processes
  • Liaise with consultants, councils, contractors and service authorities
  • Oversee contractor performance, programme delivery and project timelines
  • Review budgets, claims, variations and project costs
  • Support feasibility assessments and project planning activities
  • Monitor project risks and assist with mitigation strategies
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to leadership
Skills & Experience
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience delivering civil or land development projects
  • Strong understanding of project coordination and contractor management
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects
  • Commercial awareness and practical problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously
