Are you an experienced Business Services Accounting looking for flexibility and a good working environment? Let's talk! 

I'm partnering with a chartered firm in recruiting for their next Senior Accountant - essentially a 2IC to the owner/director and a valued team member in managing their clients for accounting services and professional advice for their portfolio of 250-300 clients. 

The role is based in Castle Hill and will be open to part-time or full-time opportunity.

So if you are a parent looking for a flexible role so you can work around home responsibilites, this is for you. Equally, if you are happy to do full time, this is for you as well!

The hiring manager is very flexible as long as you accomplish your deliverables.

One thing he would like to highlight is that he was once in your shoes, so now that he is running his own practice, he is doing everything in his power to relieve any unnecessary pressure at work be it in dealines, admins, or client engagement.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Working closely with the Director, you will be looking after the following:
  • Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships
  • Exposure to a variety of tax matters, including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7
  • Tax Planning & dealing with key tax issues
  • Managing your workflow and deadlines, asking questions early and escalating issues when needed
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports including cash flow
  • Assisting with tax planning, compliance and lodgement
  • Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and payroll-related obligations.
ABOUT YOU:
  • CA or CPA qualification with minimum 3 years of experience in public practice
  • Systems experience in Xero, MYOB is a MUST
  • Demonstrated experience in building good relationsip with internal and external stakeholders
  • You will not be managing any individual tax returns, so experience in managing companies, trusts and partnerships is ideal
