- $91,245 up to $118,619 + Super + Leave Entitlements (Depending on experience)

This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of legal matters that impact the community, providing legal, research and administrative support within a collaborative and professional environment.
The Role
- Provide legal and administrative support to the General Counsel and in-house solicitors.
- Work with the Solicitors to develop and implement protocols, procedures and guidelines for routine matters and assist in the production of staff training and educational documents and presentations
- To facilitate ongoing communications with external legal representatives, facilitating requests for legal advice and services, processing accounts, organising meetings for court proceedings and legal reporting as directed by the General Counsel
- Research and analysis of legal issues and case law and to subsequently prepare concise written advice and correspondence in a timely manner for the Solicitors to settle.
- The provision of clerical and administrative services such as file management, preparation of correspondence, reports, memos and the service and filing of legal documents.
- The creation, review and maintenance of documents as required, including proof reading and printing (ensuring documents are prepared to standard format.
- Responding to oral and written enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Organising and coordinating meeting venues, on-site hearing locations and associated arrangements as required by the Solicitors.
- Completed or currently undertaking a Certificate III in Legal Services or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working within a legal practice, legal services environment or large complex organisation.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Experience interpreting legislation, policies and legal documentation.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and correspondence.
- Highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with file management, document preparation and legal administration.
