About the opportunities
Depending on your experience, your day may include:
- End-to-end payroll processing (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly)
- Employee onboarding, maintenance, and terminations
- Processing leave, deductions, and adjustments accurately
- Reconciling superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax
- Interpreting and applying multiple Modern Awards and EBAs
- Supporting audits, reporting, and process improvement projects
- Partnering with HR and Finance to resolve payroll queries
We’re looking for payroll professionals who are:
- Detail-oriented and passionate about accuracy and compliance
- Organised and confident managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with different payroll systems (Micropay, Chris21, ADP, Preceda, SAP, Employment Hero, Xero, or similar)
- Experienced with interpreting and applying various Modern Awards, such as:
- SCHADS Award(Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services)
- Clerks – Private Sector Award
- Manufacturing and Associated Industries Award
- Health Professionals Award
- and other industry awards as relevant
- Knowledgeable in Fair Work legislation and payroll best practice
- A team player with a friendly, approachable attitude
