Human Resources Manager

$150K - $180K + Super | South West Sydney | Full-Time | Onsite Parking

Step into a hands-on HR leadership role within a large, fast-paced, and highly operational business where no two days look the same.

You’ll be joining a well-established, family-run organisation operating nationally within the transport and logistics sector, playing a critical role in Australia’s food supply chain. With over 1300 employees across 19 branches, the environment is down-to-earth and fast-moving. There will be a strong focus on practicality, adaptability, and a “get it done” mindset.

As the HR lead, you’ll be supported by a small team and initially the guidance from an experienced HR consultant who has worked with the business for many years. This is a true generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations, coaching leaders, and keeping the HR function running effectively day-to-day. We are looking for a HR professional who is confident, capable, and ready to make a genuine position impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing employee relations, performance, and disciplinary matters
  • Leading Fair Work cases, including unfair dismissal matters

  • Communicates well across all levels—from site staff to senior leadership
The Environment
  • 5 days in office
  • 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Open-plan, collaborative team
  • Fast-paced, operational setting
Why This Role?
  • Genuine opportunity to own and shape the HR function
  • Step into a business where HR  valued and visible
  • Broad, hands-on exposure across all aspects of HR
  • Work closely with leadership and influence real change
