Group Reporting Accountant
Parramatta | $110k + Super | 1 Day WFH | Multinational Listed Company

We’re on the lookout for a  Group Reporting Accountant  who’s keen to step into a dynamic head office function within the multibillion listed entity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report monthly financial results of business units, including disclosure notes.
  • Prepare both consolidated and standalone annual statutory financial statements for the Group.
  • Maintain the General Ledger for corporate and consolidation entities, including preparation and posting of journals, accruals, and adjustment entries.
  • Perform monthly General Ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany data for actuals, forecasts, and planning cycles.
  • Perform tax effect accounting and tax true-up calculations as part of legal entity reporting.
  • Provide technical accounting advice and support, particularly in relation to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Manage the end-to-end Joint Venture (JV) reporting process, including actuals, forecasts, and plans, ensuring timely submission of financial information from JV partners.
  • Coordinate the planning and issuance of reporting instructions and templates for JV partners.
  • Produce monthly treasury reports in line with group requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for internal controls and financial processes.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing relevant data, documentation, and insights.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects, reporting tasks, and process improvement initiatives as required.

We’re Looking For
  • CPA, CA or ACCA qualified
  • Great opportunity for big 4 first mover out of audit practice
  • Addtionally, Group Accounts out of large listed organisations will also be considered
