Are you a junior finance professional looking to grow in your career? Let's talk!
I'm partnering with one of Australia’s largest providers of security solutions, partnering with many of the country’s most recognised organisations across logistics, transport, aviation, retail and government.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring on a Finance Officer to join their close-knit team.

This is a hands-on role that sits across both finance and operations, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and being involved in the broader running of a business.

Based in the outskirts of the North Shore area, the hiring manager is looking for someone he can mentor and grow as a professional.

Imagine this, in the first 12 months, you will further enhance your skills in transactional finance and operations. In 3-5 years, you will be conducting business analysis, writing board reports and implementing automations.
That's what having a good mentor does to your career.

But if you just want to use your skill sets and find a stable company, this is for your too. You decide how you want to manage your career.

About the Role

Working closely with the finance and operations teams, your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Shopify sales reconciliations
  • General Ledger postings
  • Processing foreign currency payments
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Inventory coding and stock-related finance entries
  • Coordinating shipments and liaising with freight forwarders
  • Assisting with import/export documentation
  • Supporting the team with inventory and order processing
  • Ensuring accurate financial and operational records across shipments
About You

We are looking for someone who:
  • Has experience in a Finance Officer / Accounts Officer role
  • Is comfortable working across AP, AR and reconciliations
  • Has strong communication skills and enjoys working with different teams
  • Is proactive and solutions-focused
  • Works well in a collaborative team environment
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with inventory or logistics coordination will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
About the benefits
  • Up to $85K + Super
  • Full-time permanent position
  • Located around the outskirts of the North Shore
  • Part-time role will also be considered for the right profile
  • Join a well-established Australian business
  • Work under a supportive manager who is genuinely looking for someone to mentor and become his 2IC
  • Work with a company that supports major organisations across Australia
  • A varied role combining finance and operations exposure
  • Supportive team environment where your contribution is valued
If you’re someone who enjoys being involved in multiple aspects of the business and wants a role where no two days look the same, this could be the opportunity for you.

The hiring manager is looking to commence interview early next week, so please click APPLY NOW so I can tell you about the role.

Otherwise, would love to understand what an ideal role looks like for you.
