This multinational market leader within the Healthcare industry is an instantly recognisable brand name and dominate their niche market. Providing critical medical equipment and care to patients globally this company is in a demanding industry that continues to grow year on year regardless of economic conditions. Revenue growth has been consistent year on year and the business continues to hold well over 50% market share across the ANZ region. To continue the growth phase the ANZ Managing Director is looking from strong financial partnership to assist in driving the business forward. This role will quickly become the ‘right hand’ to the country lead and play a pivotal role in the business meeting their anticipated growth over the next 5 years.
Dual reporting to a Regional VP of Finance and the ANZ MD your key responsibilities include:
Commercial:
- Drive the overall performance of the ANZ business by providing financial management and actively shaping the commercial management – be an active part of key business performance management and decision preparation.
- Provide support, robust financial analysis, and strategic recommendations to MD and leadership team of ANZ.
- Build trusted relationships with senior management across the business to help drive performance throughout all areas of the business.
- Increase Finance function service-orientation, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Provide data-driven insights and perspectives on all aspects of the business, influencing change and action.
Control:
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standard for the Group and statutory reporting, facilitating statutory financial and tax audit
- Lead financial planning cycle, performance evaluation and variance analysis
- Enhance effective implementation and execution of internal controls, and continuous improvement review
- Monitor and mitigate risk across the business- highlighting risks early to reduce impact
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Significant experience in finance managerial roles, preferably gained in complex multinational environments across industries such as healthcare, pharmaceutical or FMCG.
- Proven experience of people leadership and an ability to build relationships to business partner and at times influence stakeholders throughout the business.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset with an ability to drill down on detail while keeping sight of the big picture.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skill is required to communicate with both internal and external personnel.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment, multi-tasking and meet tight deadline.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative to drive and lead change and process improvement
- A good team leader while comfortable being hands on and getting into the detail when required.
- Experience and familiar with sizable ERP systems, preferably SAP system
