Join a well-known global brand in a high-impact Corporate Accountant role, where you’ll take ownership across group reporting, tax, and compliance in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a CA or CPA qualified professional looking to step into a broad, commercially focused role with exposure to consolidation, tax, and financial reporting at a group level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare income tax returns and disclosures, ensuring full compliance with Australian and New Zealand tax regulations
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation and review calculations in line with regulatory standards
- Manage tax effect accounting, including provisions, deferred tax, and quarterly reporting
- Prepare BAS and GST reporting, including apportionment analysis
- Lead the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements, including ESG reporting and disclosures
- Provide insightful P&L analysis and variance commentary
- Support forecasting and annual budgeting processes
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up outstanding items
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and assist in resolving audit queries
- Contribute to internal controls, process improvements, and system enhancements
- Supervise an Assistant Accountant and support their development
- Assist with ad-hoc finance projects as required
- CA or CPA qualified (essential)
- Strong experience in group consolidation, tax, and GST
- Background in a large or multinational environment preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide meaningful financial insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
