The Role
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting clients, creating opportunities and being financially rewarded for performance. You will be targeting businesses with ongoing service requirements, building relationships with key decision makers, completing site assessments, preparing proposals, and converting opportunities.
Tasks and duties include:
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities across commercial offices, healthcare, education, transport, retail, strata, and other commercial sectors
- Meet with prospective clients, conduct site inspections, prepare quotations and present tailored service solutions
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking and outbound activity, following up qualified leads from internal sales support
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to contract award before handing over to the operations team for mobilisation
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure proposals are commercially sound and deliverable
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to be:
- A proven B2B hunter skills - enjoying generating your own opportunities rather than relying on qualified appointments (though you will also receive qualified appointments from the internal sales support team)
- Commercially credible with the ability to sell value, service quality, compliance, and reliability rather than competing only on price
- Confident building rapport with business owners, facilities managers, operations leaders and procurement stakeholders
- Commercially minded with strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills
- Self-managed, resilient, and practical, with strong follow-through and a clear focus on converting pipeline into revenue, resilient and driven by achieving results and maximising your earning potential
