Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Telemarketer to join their growing sales team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships and creating opportunities through proactive outbound calling.
Working closely with experienced Sales Managers, you will play a key role in generating qualified appointments with business decision makers and supporting ongoing business growth across the region.
This is not a scripted call centre role. We are looking for someone who can build rapport, ask the right questions, identify opportunities and represent the business professionally.
Your duties will include:
• Conducting outbound business-to-business calls to prospective clients
• Identifying and qualifying opportunities through effective questioning and relationship building
• Booking appointments for the sales team with key decision makers
• Managing and nurturing leads through ongoing follow-up activities
• Building strong relationships with prospective customers
• Researching target businesses and developing prospect lists
• Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
• Coordinating appointments to maximise sales team productivity
• Managing email correspondence and lead enquiries
• Working towards daily, weekly and monthly activity targets
• Collaborating with the wider sales team to support business development initiatives
• Providing updates on market activity, customer feedback and lead generation outcomes
The successful candidate:
• Has previous experience in telemarketing, outbound sales, lead generation, appointment setting or customer service
• Is confident making outbound calls and speaking with business decision makers
• Has exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Is resilient and maintains a positive attitude when faced with rejection
• Enjoys working in a target-driven environment
• Is proactive, motivated and self-driven
• Has strong administration and CRM skills
• Can effectively prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities
• Is professional, personable and highly organised
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment
• Is looking to build a long-term career within sales and business development
