Bookkeeper - Immediate Start - Fully Remote

This impressive Not for Profit organisation is looking to bring on an immediately available bookkeeper who can drive process improvements, clear backlogs, and support the finance team through a period of exciting change. The main responsibilities will include (but not limited too):

• Full function Accounts Payable and Receivable: including invoice processing, supplier payments, bank allocations, customer receipting, account follow-ups, and reconciliation's
• Support month-end close including journal preparation and posting
• Reconciliation of general ledger including balance sheet, bank, credit card reconcialtions and etc.
• Daily receipting
• Assist in clearing backlog and streamlining reconciliation processes
• Statutory accounting and reporting (BAS, GST, payroll tax - monthly/quarterly)

The ideal candidate will have:

• Xero experience highly desirable
• Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping or assistant accountant role
• Confident with end-to-end reconciliations and general accounting processes
• Known for accuracy, accountability, and strong initiative
• Able to work independently, stay accountable, and thrive in a remote setup
