Assistant Estimating Coordinator
Western Sydney Location| Permanent Part Time| Flexible around School Hours| $65K–$80K + Super depending on experience| Onsite Parking
A family-owned construction business based in Western Sydney, who have been proudly operating for over 45 years, is seeking a strong administrator to join their Estimating team as an Assistant Estimating Coordinator.
This is a dynamic role ideal for someone organised, proactive, and eager to learn. You'll support tender preparation and submission, document management, and general admin tasks—developing your skills in the construction industry alongside a long-standing, supportive team that values individual contributions and is invested in your growth.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage tender documentation and folders, including downloading, printing, and organising plans and drawings

Set up tenders in the system and coordinate document distribution, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and site meeting registrations

Attend tender briefings as needed and assist in reviewing plans and preparing trade scopes

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to request, follow up, and file quotes

Support the team in formatting tender schedules, methodologies, and programs

Provide general administrative support, including managing calls, liaising with visitors, formatting and proofreading documents, and tracking outstanding bids and quotes.

Time-conscious and understand the importance of meeting deadlines without compromising on quality

Take pride in getting things right the first time, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

Have excellent written communication and phone manner

Bring strong administrative skills and are confident using Microsoft Suite

Reliable, accountable, and take ownership of your responsibilities

Enjoy being part of a team and have strong interpersonal skills

Have the ability to adapt and pivot with shifting priorities

Have general knowledge of construction terminology or a willingness to learn
