A family-owned construction business based in Western Sydney, who have been proudly operating for over 45 years, is seeking a strong administrator to join their Estimating team as an Assistant Estimating Coordinator.
This is a dynamic role ideal for someone organised, proactive, and eager to learn. You'll support tender preparation and submission, document management, and general admin tasks—developing your skills in the construction industry alongside a long-standing, supportive team that values individual contributions and is invested in your growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage tender documentation and folders, including downloading, printing, and organising plans and drawings
- Set up tenders in the system and coordinate document distribution, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and site meeting registrations
- Attend tender briefings as needed and assist in reviewing plans and preparing trade scopes
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to request, follow up, and file quotes
- Support the team in formatting tender schedules, methodologies, and programs
- Provide general administrative support, including managing calls, liaising with visitors, formatting and proofreading documents, and tracking outstanding bids and quotes.
- Time-conscious and understand the importance of meeting deadlines without compromising on quality
- Take pride in getting things right the first time, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Have excellent written communication and phone manner
- Bring strong administrative skills and are confident using Microsoft Suite
- Reliable, accountable, and take ownership of your responsibilities

- Have the ability to adapt and pivot with shifting priorities
- Have general knowledge of construction terminology or a willingness to learn
