Accounts Receivable Officer – Full Function

We’re partnering with a well-established Australian business in the security and technology space to recruit an experienced end-to-end Accounts Receivable Officer.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Wetherill Park, working 100% in the office. The site offers onsite parking, with public transport also nearby, making the commute easy from multiple directions.
The business has been operating for over 40 years across Australia and New Zealand and continues to grow. They work with some of the world’s largest brands, delivering solutions across security, monitoring, environmental control and access control. Internally, they’re known for their excellent team culture and for genuinely looking after their staff.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the AP Officer, you’ll take ownership of the full accounts receivable function, managing the ledger end to end.
This is a well-run AR function — the current ledger sits below the industry average for DSOs, and you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving this performance.
Your responsibilities will include (but aren’t limited to):
- End-to-end Accounts Receivable management
- Customer invoicing and billing
- Credit control and collections
- Daily reconciliations across three bank accounts
- Daily reconciliations of multiple corporate credit cards
- High-volume payment allocations
- Resolving customer queries and discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate customer accounts and records
- AR reconciliations and month-end support
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth cash flow and processes
About You

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a full function / end-to-end AR role
- Strong reconciliation skills (banks and credit cards)
- A proactive approach to credit control and collections
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- The ability to work collaboratively in an office-based finance team
