We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable and Payable Manager to join a growing, multi-site national business.
This role will suit a hands-on finance professional who enjoys leading transactional finance teams, improving processes, and partnering closely with operational stakeholders across multiple locations.
You will oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and offshore support functions while helping drive consistency, accountability, and operational efficiency across the business.
About the role Reporting into senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the AR and AP teams
- Drive best-practice collections and debtor management processes
- Improve invoice processing workflows and system efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with finance processes and procedures across branches
- Oversee offshore transactional finance support and future expansion
- Review reporting accuracy, ledger integrity, and financial data quality
- Partner with operational stakeholders across multiple national locations
- Support process improvement and standardisation initiatives
- Assist with cost control and operational reporting activities
- Build strong internal relationships while driving accountability
- Previous experience leading AR/AP or shared services functions
- Strong Accounts Receivable and collections management capability
- Experience managing or working alongside offshore teams
- Ability to work hands-on within transactional finance operations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and process improvement mindset
- Intermediate to advanced Excel capability
- Experience within multi-site or operational businesses highly regarded
- Exposure to ERP environments such as SAP, Ariba, or Sage advantageous
