An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-known business operating across Australia and New Zealand. The business is entering a strong growth phase, making this a great time to come on board and truly own the AP function.
You will be managing end-to-end Accounts Payable function across multiple entities. You’ll be working closely with suppliers, internal teams, senior management, the CFO and Directors.
Whether you’re a bookkeeper looking to manage only AP, or an experienced AP professional who enjoys running the function autonomously — this role will suit you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- End-to-end Accounts Payable across several entities
- Invoice processing, coding and approvals
- Supplier reconciliations and statement reviews
- Managing payment runs and schedules
- Handling AP queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Liaising with AR, operational managers, CFO and Directors
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting month-end processes
- Contributing to process improvements as the business grows
- Proven experience in an end-to-end AP role, or solid bookkeeping experience with strong AP exposure
- Comfortable managing AP independently and prioritising your own workload
- Experience working with multiple entities is highly regarded
- Strong, clear and confident communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
- Professional, reliable and able to build relationships across all levels of the business
- Full-time, permanent position
- $75,000 to $85,000 + Super, depending on experience
- Office-based role in the Blacktown area, with street parking
