Accounts Payable Officer - Immediate Start - Part Time - 2 /3 days

Operating from strategically located facilities across multiple states, the company ensures efficient service delivery to both regional and metropolitan areas.

My client is looking to bring on an Accounts Payable Officer in a part-time (2/3 days) temp-to-perm opportunity, supporting a finance team with processing invoices/transactions, payment runs and reporting.

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include (but not limited too):

• Process and code supplier invoices accurately and efficiently in line with company policies.
• Manage payment runs, including EFT, cheque, and international payments, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies or outstanding items.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries, troubleshooting invoice or payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure smooth end-to-end purchase-to-pay processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Comprehensive, 5/10 + years in Accounts Payable experience, with a solid understanding of the full function
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders.
• Highly organised with strong admin skills to support accurate invoice processing and payment cycles.
• Works autonomously with a strong sense of ownership, while also being a reliable team player.
• Exceptionally detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in data entry, reconciliations, and reporting.
