Accounts Payable Officer - Immediate Start - Global FMCG

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, your responsibilities will include (but not limited too):

  • Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring all supplier invoices are processed accurately and paid on time
  • Review, verify, and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier records and handle any queries or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure proper coding and approval of invoices before entering them into the system
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and preparing reports for audit purposes
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement and finance, to resolve issues and improve payment processes
  • Monitor and manage payment schedules, ensuring all payments are made in accordance with company policies and deadlines
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Comprehensive Accounts Payable experience, with a solid understanding of the full function
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an account’s role, ideally within Accounts Payable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a flexible approach to task completion
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering results
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring precision in all aspects of work.
